We advocate for the use of automatic fi re sprinkler and water-based fi re suppression systems and work to raise awareness of their role in saving lives and protecting fi refi ghters, property and the environment from fi re and dedicated to ensuring sprinkler systems are installed to the highest professional standards. Our members include a signifi cant majority of third-party certifi ed sprinkler installers as well as manufacturers; suppliers; contractors; insurers; fi re and rescue services and more. The association has offered a home to smaller companies entering the market and now represents a large number of companies offering the installation of domestic and residential fi re sprinkler systems.

The East Coast Digital Programme (ECDP) is a landmark scheme that will introduce in-cab digital signalling on the southern part of the East Coast Main Line, between London Kings Cross and Grantham. Moving to a modern, digitally based system can potentially reduce thousands of hours of delays, and make train services more reliable. Signallers can continuously communicate with every train and respond in real time using digital tools to help the fl ow of trains and recover services quickly after disruption. Digital signalling contributes to a greener railway; upgrades will deliver a further 55,000 tonne reduction in carbon emissions over 60 years.
