Leaders in the clear

THE leaders in both the first and second division of the Ribble Valley Ladies’ Darts League are still both clear at the top of their respective tables. In Division One, Vic

toria lead by two points after beating Low Moor 5- 3 and in Division Two, Royal Oak still top the table, after drawing with second-placed Dog and Partridge in their latest match. The highest score of the

started the second half on top, clawing goals back

with a penalty, after Richard Astin had fouled, and then with a long range effort from the edge of the

box. Clitheroe never gave up

and were rewarded when Simon Pickles forced the ball into the net. This seemed to dishearten the visitors and when Peter McLoughlin was fouled in the box, Scott Thompson stepped up to convert the penalty. Midfield man Andrew

Hutchinson completed the scoring with a volley to give the home side (heir first double of the season. On Saturday, Clitheroe
