Ribble Valley District Liaison Committee for Social Services se e k s to recruit representative of Voluntary Interests and applications are invited from local voluntary organisations in the Ribble Valley whose work is related to that of the Social Services Committee.


The District Liaison Committee for Social Services is a body made up of representatives of the County Council, the District Council, Local Voluntary Interests and the District Liaison Committee for Education. The function of the Committee is to provide a forum for consideration of Social Services matters within the District and to assist and foster co-operation between


the County Social Services Committee and local agencies. The Committee meets quarterly.


Applications, which must be submitted by secretaries of voluntary organisations, should nominate an individual who has indicated his/her willingness to serve, should give the name and address of the nominee and information as to the office he or she holds in the organisation.
