MATERIALS MANIPULATION ENGINEER Will be experienced in a variety of aerospace materials manipulation techniques, including standard press-shop practices and deep drawing. An understanding of press tool principles, design, try-out and methods development for a volume production environment would be a distinct

Will have ‘hands on' experience of M.I.G., T.I.G.. E.B.W. and resistance welding in a variety of aerospace materials, including the design and use of associated jigs and fixtures. A knowledge and understanding of joint design, pic and post weld treatments and N.D.T. techniques and weld quality specifications is desirable.Training in machine programming, P.LC.'s and the joining of non-metallic materials will be made available.


MANUFACTURING ENGINEER A 'seasoned' engineer is required with a wide experience of volume manufacture in the aerospace or other automated industry. Experience in several aspects of tool try-ouL work study, methods and systems engineering is desired. The achievement of pre-determined programme plans in terms of 'milestone' dates, product launch, expediting plant and tooling through the manufacturing function and outside suppliers will be expected.
