ST John Ambulance officers were rushed off their feet when local people flocked to the Clitheroc division’s King Lane headquarters. First aid was not required though, just plates of mince pics and jugs of coffee. The division’s Cadets and Badgers served the visitors and manned book,
cake and bring-and-buy stalls. There was also a tombola and raffle. The mince pie. and coffee evening raised £70 for textbooks and teaching equipment for the Cadets and Badgers.
