factory which is this year celebrating its half-century of busi- n e s s , a l t h o u g h employees at smaller bases in Brierfield and Clitheroe will no doubt be join ing in the celebrations.


The Brierfield unit,


which in effect is a scaled-down operation of the Burnley factory, is based in a former chur ch in Wesley Street. It will be bet­ ter known to Brier­ field people as the Cal- d e r st on es M a n u f a c t u r i n g Company.
