(i) the Ribble Valley Borough Council (as Agents for the Lancashire County Councill, the Street Works Authority) have resolved to execute certain private street works in the street known as St Nicholas Avenue (Part), Sabden within the said Borough under and in pursuance of the Highways Act 1980 and


(ii) the Borough Engineer of the Ribble Valley Borough Council has prepared specifications, plans, sec­ tions, estimates and provisional apportionments of estimated expenses with respect of such works;


TAKE NOTICE that the said Council on the 17th day of


February, 1987, passed a Resolution approving of such specifications, plans, sections, estimates and provisional apportionments of estimated expenses in the following terms:


"RESOLVED that ST NICHOLAS AVENUE (PART),


SABDEN, within the Council's area not being at present sewered, levelled, paved, metalled, flagged, channelled, made good to the satisfaction of the Councill, be sewered, levelled, paved, metalled, flagged, channelled, lighted and made good in accordance with the provisions of the code contained in the Highways Act 1980; and that the expenses incurred in executing such works be apportioned between the premises fronting or adjoining the said several streets according to the respective frontages of each premises; and further that the specification of the works proposed to be done in sewering, levelling, paving, metalling, flagging, channelling, lighting and making good and also the plans, sections, estimates and provisional apportionments relating to such work, now submitted by the Borough Planning and Technical Officer, be and the same are hereby approved; and further that the Chief Executive and Town Clerk be, and is hereby instructed to publish this resolution arid to serve thereof in a manner and upon the person directed by the statute.
