Haworth (SI) was former ly a director of Hindle Warburton Textile Man ufacturers, of Blackburn, until it was taken over by the Brierfield-based firm, which has a mill at Chat- burn. He retired in 1D(»D.
A keen sportsman, Mr
Haworth played football in his early years and later became a member of Clitheroe Golf Club. He was also a member of Clitheroe Probus Club.
Mr Haworth and his
wife, Elsie, moved to Waddington in the 19G0s after living at Sunny- mede. Grindleton.
He leaves a wife and
children Bob. Tony, .John and .Jennifer.

THE painting of council houses came in for critic ism at a meeting of the Kibble Valley Council’s Housing Committee.
