of the year at the annual meeting of Clitheroe Ladies’ Hockey Club was Stephanie Coo per, w h ile Helen Dale took the second X I title. The club will continue to
run two teams in the Central Lancashire La die s’ Hockey L e a g u e n e x t season and would like to hear from any new players. With the club now having
only one regular umpire, it is also felt that another umpire w o u ld make games much more enjoyable next season. The annual meeting was at
tended by 21 members and reports were given by chair man Sadie Baker, treasurer Chris Farnsworth and secret ary Anne Hutchinson. T ra in in g for the new season
wil l start in September and it is hoped that the enthusiasm shown at the meeting will be even grc&tcr then, so that both teams can have 'another enjoyable campaign. The club’s next event will
be a B ric -a -B ra c and Books stall at the Country Fayre on June'13th. An y members who have collected goods for this can bring them to the stall on the day or deliver them be fo re h a n d to a committee member.
