Chadwick, Sunday School superintendent, helped by.the mothers of the rose queen-elect (Jil- lian Philips) and her in­ tended retinue. There was a cake stall and tombola and more than £82 was raised to provide the floral arrangements for the rose queen festival on July 11th. Mrs Chadwick thanked everyone for their support.
