■PARISH .Councils and organisations receiving grants from the Ribble'-Valley Council for recreational projects are to .be given a deadline to complete the work. ■ j
■ The council’s Recreation and Leisure Committee has ruled' that in future work should be carried out by December 31st.
• This will act as a , “spur” ' to applicants to ensure that projects are com pleted and approved in time for the grant to be paid before, the end of the .financial year.

pleted by the end of De cember, the committee may re-allocate the money to other projects arising' during the year.'
