■PARISH .Councils and organisations receiving grants from the Ribble'-Valley Council for recreational projects are to .be given a deadline to complete the work. ■ j


■ The council’s Recreation and Leisure Committee has ruled' that in future work should be carried out by December 31st.


• This will act as a , “spur” ' to applicants to ensure that projects are com­ pleted and approved in time for the grant to be paid before, the end of the .financial year.
