CLITHEROE Dolphin's record run of 10 consecu tive victories came to an end with three defeats in eight days. They were beaten 29-2 away to Fleetwood ASC, and by Wigan ASC and Chorley Marlins at the Ribblesdale Pool. The defeat by Fleet-
wood, the strongest team in the league, was not un expected but the Dol phins’ swimmers were not disgraced, Kathryn Pym winning the senior girls’ backstroke and Andrew Nicholas the senior boys’ freestyle. The defeats by Wigan
