The Lancashire County Coun­ cil propose to make the above Order under Section 1 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1967, as amended, the effect of which will be to prohibit the waiting of vehicles at all limes on the length of road specified in the Scehdule to this notice.


The Order will contain exemp­ tions to allow vehicles to wait for as long as may be neces­ sary to enable goods to be loaded or unloaded; to enable persons to board or alight or to enable it to be used in connec­ tion with any building operation or demolition and the mainte­ nance of essential services.
