Clitheroe jazz pianist hits the big time


TOP Clitheroe jazz pianist Stan Barker has been accompanying the “greats” of the jazz world with his own trio for the past 15 years.


Stan, the trio is turning professional in November, shortly after the release of i ts f i r s t LP re co rd . Already there is talk of a tour of America when the record goes on the market there in the New Year, and distant sights are fixed on other jazz-mad coun­ tries, such as Japan.
