This new mains operated Philips desk-top dictation/transcription machine has been designed for the average dictator. Out of the wide range of possible features, those which are essential for average daily dictation work have been selected. Basic functions are remote controlled from the microphone; all others are operated from the machine. A special accessory (the intercom adaptor) provides an intercom facility between the 98 dictation machine and say, a 96 used as a transcriber. The 96 is based on the Philips Mini-cassette.
