Applications are Invited for the post of part-time Hanger to carry out duties at Spring Wood Picmc Site at Whalley. The successful appli­ cant will be one of two part-time Hangers (the other has already been appointed) who work on a rota under the supervision of the Head Hanger of the County Council Countryside Hanger Service. Appli­ cants should be able to work all or part of the following hours which are subject to amendment: Satur- days/Sunday/Bank Holidays, 10.00 to 18.00 (or dusk) throughout the vear. Availablility for occasional mid-week duties would be *n advantage.


Maximum total hours per week 24, divided between the two part-time


Hangers. Hate of pay is approxi­ mately 72p per hour. Duties involve general supervision of the area, securing compliance with the bye­ laws disseminating information, sale'of guides anHgencrally help­ ing the public. The ranger will also be resjxmsible for # general maintenance, cleaning of toilets and litter collection.
