the federation's policy to seek interviews with Mem bers of Parliament and to press for pensions of £ io a week for single people and £16 a week for married couples. Mrs Green explained the
working of the federation's head office, and told what happened to the money s e n t there by tiie various branches. She said th a t the federa
tion was the only body th a t h a s been, and still is, fighting for higher pensions, an d she added th a t she hoped pensioners would soon g e t an adequate pension without having to rely on concessions and the like.
