Members spent the afternoon playing dominoes and were in formed of some of the activities p l a n n e d for future meetings. These in clude a talk on road safety, a visit to a woollen under wear manufacturer’s at Bingley and a colour trans parency afternoon, when transparencies of Scotland will be shown.
Ribblesdale Club Tea hostesses at the
girls’ Friday Club are cur rently being held to give members the opportunity to rehearse their songs and flag drill. They are to take part in the Mothers’ Union get-together being held later this month, along with the Ribblesdale Club choir.

The party included tombola and dancing, etc., and a sum of £100 was raised in aid of the organ fund of St Leonard’s Church, Langho. A vote of thanks was given to Mrs R. G. Thompson for the effort.
