\i a cruel blow to Clitheroe
Shaw Bridge looked more like a battlefield than a football ground on Saturday as
iClithcroe drew 1-1 with Kirkby Town in a hard, bruising game. The draw was all the more creditable to Clitheroe because they played the final
30 minutes with only eight fit men, having had Wilson taken to hospital with a gashed leg, Williamson limping badly and Clegg suffering from concussion. Their Jack of a substitute paid Clitheroe dearly, however,
for they played that final half-hour with only 10 men on the field.
