advertised as a “completely new form of entertainment" fully justified its description; the “unexpected” happened throughout the evening, and the event, promoted by the Mens Fellowship in a;d o{ the Church’s Centenary Appeal, proved to be one of the jolliest evenings held in the school for many years.

audience-participation items, and people prominent in the life of the village found them

the bride wore a short dress of cream lace and carried a bou- quet of irises and cheerfulness.
Buds of cheerfulness adorned her hair. She was attended by her small daughter Amanda, wearing a floral dress and carrying d single white carna tion. The service was conducted by the Rev. T. Cooper, a friend of
the bridegroom. The reception was held at
the Sudbury Arms Hotel. The following day, the couple left by air for Johannesburg, where Mr. Gregson is taking up an appointment with the South African Export firm of Imex.

the bride wore a full length gown of white witchcraft lace over satin, with, a long train falling from the ivaist. Her shoulder length veil was held in place by a headdress com posed of a single rose and hya cinth pips and she carried a bouquet of white carnations and pink roses.
The matron-of-honour, Mrs. Shirley Diana Bullock (bride’s
sister)’ and the bridesmaid. Miss Edith Thomber, were attired in ankle length dresses o f primrose gr os grain, with lace and rose trim. Gloves, shoes and rose headdresses in matching primrose, completed their ensembles. The flowers they carried were white carna tions and yellow freesias.
