know anyone who has lost one!

Mrs. E. Parker, of 16 EslUon Terrace. Clitheroe found one whilst out shopping on December 21st. She dis covered a black and white Dutch rabbit in Woone Lane, opposite Hargreaves’ shop, and took it home with her.

Since that time Mrs. Parker has made many enquiries in a vain bid to iind the rabbit’s owner even going as far as Primrose Bridge.

She told an Advertiser and Times reporter on Wed nesday: “It was very hun gry when I found it and is obviously a pet since one can feed it by hand.”

When asked whether she would keep it if allowed to do so, Mrs. Parker replied: “If no one claims it I shall give.it to my son, Mr. E. Parker, of Bashall Hall Cottage, Bashall Eaves, who has other rab

bits.”

Mrs. Parker continued: “I hope someone does claim the rabbit especially if some child is missing his or her pel.”

An unusual, bul nevertheless, fascinating view of the ancient Whallcy- Parish Church from King Street.
