decided to experiment ivith united services on Sunday evenings in Clitheroc. T h is m eans that all mem­


ber churches in Clitheroe will b e closed sav e fo r one, in which the united service will be held. T h e first service is hop ed to be held on N o vem ­ ber 28 a t Trinity .Methodist Church. T h e service will lak e the


form o f the usual service in the church in which it is be­ ing held, and its own minister will officiate. I t was a lso decided to give


m o ra l su p po r t to the St. Jam e s public a p p e a l fo r the school, and individu a l churches will give financial support.
