like to know why the countryside is so varied, why the hill? or the plain? or the lake? Why granite here, and limestone there? and will deal with coastlines, downlands and plains. With the Lake District. North Wales and the Scottish High lands. There will be four indoor meetings illustrated by slides, maps and rock species. After Easter there will be two field excursions. I t is proposed to hold these at weekends.
