At the afternoon service the Sunday School scholars gave the play “ Signs,” lessons being read by Miss Dorothy Spencer and Miss Gladys Gardner. Solos were rendered by Miss Barbara Holt, who sang in the after­ noon’ “ Where e’er you walk,” and in the evening, “ The Holy City.” The choir, augmented by friends from Chatburn, sang the anthem “O Praise the Lord” and “Bless His Holy Name.” The organists were Mr. Horace Franch (Rimlng- ton), for the morning service, and Miss G.
