' A CLITHEROE woman, Mrs. Alice Ann Nell, of 19,
Brook-street, was a witness at the North London Magistrates’ Court on Friday, when John Shilton Nell, 33, labourer, of 44, Wedmore street. Upper Holloway, appeared on re mand charged with blgamous- ly marrying Florence Mamie Cousins at Islington (London) Register Ofiffee on April 20th, 1946. '
Mrs. Nell said that on Sep- •
tember 11th, 1937, she was married a t ’ the York-street, Clltheroe, Register Office, to the defendant, rind she pro duced a copy of the extract from the Registrar. She said she had not seen her husband since October 18th, 1945.
