Waterhouse said, “ We know how many there are," With assistance, he took the sacks to the police office and checked the cohtente. He found they contained 45 dead rabbits, three long nets, eight pegs and a! billji line. Questioned by defendants,' witness denied
that he was told that Mr. Whittaker, of Bolton Peel had given them permission to catch the rabbits. He did not say; "Out with those rabbits” until he had examined the contents of the sack.
