KINGTON WHEELBARROW RACE 13 June from 5.30pm Kington Primary School grounds

This year is the 50th anniversary of the annual Wheelbarrow Race, set in the Kington Primary School grounds. Though this is very much a grown-up occasion too, which embraces the community and visitors in a raucous spectacle that definitely puts the ‘fun’ into fundraising. Now well established as fabulous entertainment, the speed event will once again be fancy dress, this year with a hilarious theme of 70s TV Sitcom. A competition for best dressed barrow following after.

Kington Fire-Fighters will conduct a blanket collection during the evening, so please remember to bring your loose change and show support for the festival. Free to attend.
