A PALMER SCHOLARSHIP
OPENS DOORS
WHEN CARLOS BONILLA left his job as an engineer fireman and EMT to study chiropractic at Palmer Florida, he knew he was taking a leap of faith. “As a father of three, to leave behind what’s bringing food to my table — it was scary.”
Fortunately, a Palmer College scholarship is giving Carlos confidence that he’ll land safely on the other side. “Being able to focus on school instead of how we’re going to make it work makes a true impact.”
The Christian Mary Martin Memorial Gift Scholarship is awarded to a second-career
Florida student who is a licensed health care professional, a military veteran, or from outside the United States. “It means everything to see this door open for those who are making the move into this field.”
The scholarship is just one of nearly 200 available at Palmer, all designed to help students manage their finances — and their studies — for the best future possible.
“Knowing that Palmer cares about us in this way makes a big difference,” says Carlos.
