Europe’s largest wound care conference
The joint European Wound Management Association (EWMA) and Journées Cicatrisations Conference is set to take place on 1–3 February 2022 in Paris. The event will have a special focus on the coordination, organisation and pathways that support the healing of complex wounds.
ll healthcare systems need to handle a great number of complex wounds, including the primary types of non- healing ulcers as well as the rarer types. As we are still struggling to establish clear pathways for the primary types of ulcers in many countries around the world, some wounds also require special attention to ensure that patients get access to the specialist evaluation they require. Given the variations in healthcare structures and engagement of medical professionals in different countries, this is a complex task that is central to the provision of high- quality patient care.
