BARNHART ACquIRES ARMSTRoNG CRANE & RIGGING


Barnhart Crane and Rigging Co. and Armstrong Crane and Rigging, Inc., of New Brighton, Minnesota, USA, have entered into an agreement under which Barnhart has purchased Armstrong, including its operated crane rental service and all associated personnel and equipment. The purchase marks Barnhart’s third acquisition this year. Since 1979, Armstrong Crane and Rigging has provided the equipment, expertise, and experienced personnel to serve utility and heavy industry’s transport, rigging, and lift needs in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. The latest acquisition now further


strengthens Barnhart’s presence in the upper Midwest.
