Advanced Fuel Transportation Inc. (AFT), a subsidiary of NANO Nuclear Energy Inc., is set to revolutionize North American nuclear fuel transportation under the leadership of seasoned executives.


AFT aims to provide HALEU fuel in commercial quantities to a variety of clients including small modular reactors, microreactor companies, national laboratories, military operations, and DOE programs.


Partnerships and Licensing: AFT holds the exclusive license for a high-capacity HALEU fuel transportation basket, a technology that was developed by three major U.S. national nuclear laboratories and funded by the DOE. NANO has signed an agreement with Gesellschaft für Nuklear-Service mbH (GNS) to undertake a wide-ranging project to produce an optimized HALEU transportation system solution.

Annular Linear Induction Pumps (ALIPs) allow the safe use of molten salts and liquid metals as a working fluid in high temperature applications in the energy, propulsion and industrial sectors.


The operation at high-temperatures, in excess of 850 C (1123 K), leads to higher-efficiency energy conversion cycles. At Nano Nuclear Energy, we are designing and developing the next generation of annular linear induction pumps.
