Dear Visitor Welcome back to PHTMEXPO!
This last eighteen months has been exceptionally challenging.
Our industry is an essential and integral part of the UK transport infrastructure yet during this pandemic we were forgotten by the Government. We did not receive the specific financial support to which our industry was entitled – the financial support we needed and deserved.
However, thousands of operators and hundreds of thousands of drivers continued to work 24/7/365 to keep the nation moving. It was members of our trade who supported local communities, transported NHS staff and key workers, delivered food and prescriptions to the old and the vulnerable and more recently took the elderly for their jabs.
PHTM IS SO PROUD OF OUR TRADE We thank you for your hard work and diligence and salute you for your resilience and adaptability.
Finally, the UK is open for business again; but our industry faces new challenges not only competing with deep-pocketed global TNCs but we now have numerous domestic legislative concerns to which we must also react.
