As I walk south on High St. through the Short North and look up at the Downtown Skyline, I cannot help but smile and pick up my pace. I think through all of the scaling startup companies that are occupying growing blocks of space and impacting Columbus in so many ways. The energy of our City is changing rapidly, but it feels like it will never change this slowly again. The culture, the purpose, the heartbeat of our City is beating at a pace and strength that is reverberating in every facet throughout Cbus. It’s inspiring, it’s real and the opportunity to be a part of growing something special is riveting.


The spirit of this inaugural 2019 Spotlight is to highlight a few select startup companies and the inspiring entrepreneurs that lead them. The objective of this Spotlight is to share their stories, mission and purpose, and give a glimpse into the vibrant startup ecosystem in Columbus.


Here’s to the brave, the ones who, rather than be crippled by fear of failure, are driven by the opportunity to make real, meaningful change to industries, communities and lifestyles! Here’s to our current and future leaders, innovators, disrupters and change-agents.
