GLOBAL [gps]


An innovative platform for cultivating and leveraging high-impact experiential learning opportunities.


GPS Institute We’re transporting global partners to UB for a week of high- impact sharing, collaboration and capacity building. This year’s inaugural Institute, taking place Oct. 1-5, will focus on catalyzing collaboration around health, social innovation & STEM education with partners from Ghana, Jamaica, Tanzania and Zimbabwe.


GPS Journal This open-source platform for students and partners to share research and stories related to global collaboration will publish its inaugural issue in spring 2019. Submissions are now being accepted!


Global Collaboration Digital Badge This new, co-curricular program provides a framework for enhancing global collaboration experiences through guided reflection, skills development and connected narratives. It is currently being piloted with UB students in fall 2018 and will be open to non-UB students in spring 2019.


Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL)


Courses GPS COIL courses will engage students in project-based collaboration through technology-supported courses and learning experiences with other students from around the globe.
