My name is Diego. I’ve been stuttering since I was eight years old and now I’m 11. Some people make fun of me and they pretend that they are stuttering. It makes me stutter worse, but at least I’m learning how to use strategies and the more I stutter, the more I’m practicing. I always take a deep breath then drag out the words and it makes me stutter less. I stuttered since I was in the second grade and now I’m in fi fth grade. (I have had) three years of stuttering, but I’m trying my best until I stop stuttering, go to college, and study what I want to be.
