Adventures Start on Campus

Great company makes for great adventures. At NGU, we believe our strong community of faculty, staff, and students makes your adventure that much better.

We provide plenty of opportunities for you to connect with your friends (and make new ones, too) through student clubs, athletic and intramural teams, and weekly activities, as well as on-campus opportunities for building community, like small group Bible studies and worship services.

SPIRITUAL GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES

BAPTIST COLLEGIATE MINISTRIES (BCM) BCM is the largest and oldest Christian organization on campus. Students meet together for BCM to engage in worship on Thursday evenings, with an average attendance of more than 300.

CAMPUS MINISTRIES Chaplains and interns work with the Campus Ministries staff to provide a ministry presence in every residence hall. These students may lead Bible studies, prayer teams, or accountability groups with their hallmates. They provide prayer support, mentoring, and encouragement.

CHAPEL The NGU family meets twice weekly for chapel worship services throughout the academic year. Chapel services offer students the opportunity to lead in worship through music, drama, and testimonies. Speakers include a variety of faculty, pastors, and ministry leaders.

SPECIAL EVENTS Each year, NGU hosts special events such as the Men’s and Women’s Conference, Ignite, Student-led Renewal, and the Christian Worldview Conference. These events give students opportunities to learn more about specific topics, with the intention of helping them grow in their faith, witness, and identity in Christ.

TODD PRAYER CHAPEL Our 24/7 prayer chapel provides a wonderful environment for contemplation, personal devotions, and communication with God. Students gather here to share their prayer needs and encourage each other.
