Leading on tomorrow’s healthcare

Our new £12.5 million Innovation for Health Learning Laboratory was officially opened by Sir Mark Walport, Chief Scientific Adviser to the UK Government. The Lab and associated academic activities will allow us to produce the next generation of graduates who are able to work across the traditional boundaries of health and engineering sciences and contribute to delivering future healthcare solutions.

The Lab also received generous funding from the Garfield Weston Foundation, a family-founded, grant-making trust, which shares our drive to make a positive impact on society.
