Maryland Will Miss... COMINGS & GOINGS Donna Bradley Brown of Woodbine died on


April 6 at the age of 75. Brown was active in the horse and livestock community, often attending horse shows as well as dairy and livestock shows. She lived at her family’s Witching Hour Farm and worked at Health Unlimited for 23 years. Brown grew up on the horse show circuit competing with her parents at such notable shows as the Wash- ington International Horse Show. She bred and owned T oroughbred racehorses and also galloped at the track in the mornings. Two of her more suc- cessful horses were Parthian King and Bold David. Later in life, Brown also owned and rode mules.

(pictured) …Elaine Long Bailey of Calvert County Extension and 4-H, who had knee replacement surgery on March 26. ...Leo “Buzz” Hull from Hullffi elds Farm in Woodbine, who is on the mend after suff ering a heart attack this spring.
