The 121st running of the Maryland Hunt Cup came to an exciting fi nish as the two remaining horses battled it out at the wire with Gerry L. Brewster’s Derwins Prospector winning by 3/4 lengths over Bruton Street-US’ Drift Society. French- man Gonzague Cottreau was in the irons giving trainer Joe Davies his second Maryland Hunt Cup victory in a row. Hadden Frost rode the Jack Fisher trained Drift Society.
