Equine Health Manager Needed
Responsible for the overall health, well-being & happiness of horses under DEFHR’s care (those in critical/rehabilitative care, program horses, & those awaiting adoption) while maintaining a positive, education focused work environment as well as a facility that is clean, safe & professional. Must have strong skills in equine health & husbandry; have excellent interpersonal skills with abil- ity to communicate clearly & concisely; be able to plan, direct & effectively lead staff/ volunteers, & oversee day-to-day farm operations. Administer, evaluate & improve DEFHR’s horse & farm programs. Work with public ensuring service providers, visitors, program participants & volunteers have positive experiences.
