WIHS was the fabu- lous concept of “T e Coat Closet.”

Switzerland’s Beat Mandli won the Longines FEI World Cup Jumping Washington (President’s Cup) on Saturday night.


Prix and international riders donated their old show coats, some of which were used when they were children, to WIHS to be sold for charity. T e idea being that some lucky juniors would get a chance to compete in a jacket once worn by Olympians Margie Engle or McLain Ward, to name a few. Unfortunetly, in a bit of confusion while collecting the coats, the names of


each rider got seperated from each coat and thus there was no way for potential shoppers to know whose legendary coat they were buying. We at T e Equiery love this idea and hope WIHS brings back T e Coat Closet for 2018, with properly labeled coats!
