Why Choose RapidNet?
1. RapidNet provides choice and flexibility to the installer and end user by offering an extensive range of connectivity options in both fibre and copper formats, based on a common cassette delivering consistent performance, breadth of range and maximum flexibility.
2. Reduce installation times by up to 95%
3. Minimal on-site testing is required once installed because it’s pre-tested
Copper RapidNet
HellermannTyton’s RapidNet pre-terminated copper systems offer options and flexibility to any network cabling infrastructure project. Available in Category 6A, Category 6 and Category 5e, HellermannTyton are able to supply pre-terminated copper RapidNet in 12-port, 6-port and 4-port cassettes.
Cassette to Cassette The cassette to cassette pre-terminated system is available in 12-port, 6-port and 4-port variations. The cassette to cassette option is typically used in a data centreor comms room application where rack to rack or cabinet to cabinet connectivity is required. Using the 12-port cassette it is possible to use a split cassette option using two 6-port cassettes on the others end providing additional flexibility in the data cabinet.
Cassette to Bare End The cassette to bare end provides flexibility suring installation. This option is used in projects where space between rooms is limited or lengths are uncertain at the planning stage. The bare end can then be terminated on site to a range of outlets and panels available from HellermannTyton.
Cassette to Pod The cassette to pod option is available in 12-port, 6-port (Cat6 and Cat5e only) and 4 port variations. Each pod houses up to 6 RJ45 outlets and can snap into a floor box or used as a consolidation point beneath raised floors or in ceiling voids. In some applications it is possible to use a split-pod option provide more flexibility at the work area end.
Cassette to Keystone Jack The cassette to keystone jack is available in 6-port and 4-port options and gives the installer or end user added flexibility at the desk or ‘work area’ end. The keystone jack can be easily clipped into a selection of modules that can be fitted into floor boxes or wall mounted face plates.
Cassette to RJ45 Plug The cassette to RJ45 plug option is available in 12-port, 6-port (Cat6 and Cat5e only) and 4-port variations. This RapidNet option has been designed for cabinet to active equipment installations where the use of a full cross- connect solution reduces the risk of damage to the ports on expensive active equipment.
