The glorious Art Nouveau city of Nancy becomes even more spectacular over the Christmas season thanks to Les Fêtes de Saint-Nicolas which this year run from November 22 until January 5. The climax is on the weekend of December 7 and 8 when there are parades, street performers and a large festive market on Place Charles III and Place Stanislas. This year there will be various flash mob performances too.
