Apprenticeships
Due to rising university and tuition costs, more and more people are looking at apprenticeships as a route into industry, as they allow you to gain hands on experience, a salary and the opportunity to gain qualifications while you work - even a degree. Apprenticeships combine on-the-job training with class room study while earning a wage, giving you valuable workplace skills and experience without the fear of university debt.
Whether you are leaving school or looking for a change in career paths, apprenticeships are for people of all ages and are available in 1500 occupations, lasting between twelve months and five years. Apprenticeships in the security industry offer a credible route into a solid future career with each one having a range of career progression pathways.
The digital age is changing the way we live and work, and as such, means that the skills of the workforce need to change and the security industry needs young talent who can encompass the digital generation, and in return the security industry offers careers that can lead in so many different directions.
