accommodation

No need to scramble for a taxi, we are lucky to have accommodation right on our doorstep and are very pleased to offer lodgings at our sister property...

...the 4 star Kings Arms Hotel, for your guests who have come from all corners to celebrate with you. The Kings Arms Hotel is a 34-bedroom inn dating from the 1400s and has been refurbished to offer all modern amenities whilst maintaining the historic character of the building.

We also offer disabled access and family suites so everyone can enjoy the party! The opportunity to have exclusive use of the hotel and a late bar until 2am is available at your request.

You may recognise our quaint hotel from TV and film productions, including Four Weddings and a Funeral, Miss Marple and Midsomer Murders, and more recently, My Cousin Rachel.

It has also hosted many famous guests — this used to be Oliver Cromwell’s favourite haunt!

We understand that you want your guests to be as comfortable as possible, whilst not out of pocket, which is why we offer our exclusive wedding bedroom rate — the lowest existing rates the hotel offers will be all yours.

All of our rates include a complimentary Full English & Continental breakfast with plenty of tea and coffee.

Our couples receive a complimentary wedding night in our bridal suite — you are welcome to come and have a look and choose which suite you would like. All of our suites are equipped with four-poster beds and open plan bathrooms.

Nearby lies another of our properties, the Crown Inn. It is a re-invention of the traditional English inn — providing eating, drinking and lodgings. At the inn, we offer simple creature comforts: luxurious mattresses, pure cotton sheets, with extra Jacob’s wool blankets to make you feel at home. The Crown has 3 separate buildings with bedrooms and a variety of room types that range from spacious to bolthole. The celebrated designer Ilse Crawford designed the modern coaching inn rooms to reflect Nordic minimalism and still uphold Olde Worlde charm and character.
