The newly elected incoming Irish Executive Council will serve a two year term starting with their first meeting in the New Year.


The Council meets about six times a year and a


General Purposes Committee (GPC) meets in between.


The new Council will elect its Cathaoirleach and other officers at their first meeting in January.
