UNHCR plans to provide winter assistance to more than four million Syrian and Iraqi internally displaced persons and refugees in Syria, Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq and Egypt.
Winter assistance will include cash payments, distribution of winter items and camp improvements. Aid is increasingly being offered through cash assistance, offering flexibility and independence to recipients.
