The Hotel Pashmina in Val Thorens was conceived as a luxury mountain refuge by the Gorini family, a chalet where soft materials and bright colours are blended to evoke a sense of home for all who enter. The breathtaking summit views from the rooms
and suites (ranging from 36 to 160sq metres) reflect the values of the founders: authenticity, hospitality, escape and a love for the mountains. The decor evokes memories of grand expeditions
and each piece has its own story: masterpieces from local artists, photos from Everest and Himalayan adventurers and furniture sourced from flea markets around the world. The spacious and comfortable Cosy Home
suites (featuring 1 to 4 bedrooms) are tailored for families and friends, offering an open kitchen and a communal living area. An unconventional accommodation sits atop
the hotel: a geodesic dome, reminiscent of those used in polar expeditions, allowing guests to spend a night under the stars. This Igloo-Pod, with its private hot tub, promises an unforgettable experience for every traveller.
The Aqua Pashmina space boasts a swimming
pool with a breathtaking view, plus an indoor and outdoor whirlpool bath, a Nordic bath, an old wood sauna, a steam room and sensory showers. The chef offers a gastronomic experience in
line with the Gorini family’s ethos: refined and unpretentious. The restaurant, Les Explorateurs, awarded with a Michelin star, offers a range of mountain cuisines from around the world. Elsewhere is a new space known as the Winter
