Princess Katherine, which has a recorded commentary about the historic buildings, wildlife and transformation of Cardiff Bay. Visitors can explore Cardiff Bay,

Norwegian travel writer wins ‘Best job in Wales’
A Norwegian travel writer will spend May 2018 visiting 30 hotels in the Welsh Rarebits Collection to write about the ‘Welsh welcome’. Lisa Stentvedt, who runs travel
blog Fjords and Beaches, was the successful candidate for the ‘Best job in Wales’, advertised last year by the luxury hotel collection. She will test the hotels’
restaurants and facilities, sharing her experiences online. Stentvedt won the role thanks to her travel writing and experience in the tourism sector – and her enthusiasm for Wales after living in Pembrokeshire as a foreign exchange student. She works at the visitor
centre in Flåm, which has just 400 inhabitants but welcomes more than one million visitors every year who come to see the Norwegian fjords.
“As somebody who never
wants to stop exploring, I’m dedicated to finding the perfect places to stay and sharing my own experiences and advice with other travellers,” she said. Mike Morgan, co-owner and
director of The Welsh Rarebits Collection, added: “Visitors to Wales often say that the warm welcome they receive here is a key reason that they visit our country.”
