Ocean Holidays seeks to boost Florida sales via ‘valued’ trade

The Ocean Holidays Group aims to increase its Florida package holiday sales via travel agents in the wake of the announcement about US borders reopening to Brits from November. The Florida specialist started selling packages via


agents “very quietly” in summer 2020, said Harry Hastings, co-chief executive and co-founder. Ann-Maria Agar, head of trade sales, said: “We


realised very quickly there were so many agents who were desperate to keep their clients and their holidays to Florida but were finding it impossible to amend holidays to later dates as flights were not on sale. “We leaned on our B2C brand Ocean Florida, which


had holidays on sale up to 2023, to see if we could help or assist these agents.” Hastings added: “We used our existing relationships
